BTS, an acronym of Bangtan Sonyeondan or “Beyond the Scene,” is a South Korean boy band that has taken the world by storm since their debut in 2013. Consisting of seven members—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—BTS is known for their diverse music, which blends elements of K-pop, hip-hop, R&B, and EDM. They write and produce much of their own music, often addressing themes such as self-love, mental health, and social issues.

BTS has garnered a massive global fanbase, known as ARMY, and has broken numerous records, including becoming the first South Korean group to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. They have also been recognized with prestigious awards, including Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, and even Grammy nominations.

Beyond their music, BTS is known for their positive influence and philanthropic efforts. They have partnered with UNICEF on the "Love Myself" campaign to end violence against children and teens, and they frequently advocate for self-acceptance and mental health awareness.
